Politalking

This is run by Sam Unsted and John Doree, a centrist liberal and a somewhat further left-lib living and working in London. We both hold a strong interest in both American and UK politics and like to keep up with current affairs as much as time and energy will allow us to.

As such, this site has been started both to aid us in keeping up-to-date with news across the globe and to occasionally air brief political opinions on the news we highlight.

We won’t apologise for being adamantly pro-liberal in our stance but will constantly make a concerted effort to make sure everything is as close to balanced as we can possibly make it.

Our primary topics will be across the current affairs spectrum, focusing on politics but also taking in business news, tech developments, major international news stories and occasionally squeezing in some truly strange bits and pieces.

We will aim to make the site slightly more user-friendly than is often seen with political blogs, attempting to make it accessible to a wider audience through employing light humour as we report the news. We hope this comes across. If it doesn’t, just enjoy the dry bits.
