Auto Bailout Pushed Back

with one comment

The Big Three have been given until after Thanksgiving to work on a better case to present to Congress as House Democrats somehow managed to appease both sides. The case for a $25bn bailout of the US automotive industry was apparently just not that convincing enough. They make a good point in the article that the three car-manufacturing head honchos ended up making absolute fools of themselves flying in private jets to ask for money.

  1. Bailout 2008, a poem by David Jeffrey:

Like a bloodied warrior, laying broken and torn.

Like a dying soldier, hopeless and forlorn.

But the blood, it be green, the color of money.

And the soldier is an economy, and it is anything but funny.

Broken are it’s people and shattered are their dreams.

Thanks to the ultra rich and their fool proof schemes.

It is a tragedy with more pain to come.

Finance will be Hell, and their wills will be done.
